SENTRYUM UPS is a ‘Transformer-less’ state-of-the-art uninterruptible power system, achieving the highest possible level of on-line double-conversion performance (VFI-SS-111) as defined within IEC EN 62040-3.
The system has been designed to protect critical information and telecommunications systems, networks, services and processes whose operation could be disrupted by poor power quality and/or breaks in their mains power supply.
SENTRYUM is rated at pf=1 (kVA=kW) and suitable for supplying ‘Capacitive’ or ‘ Inductive’ loads within a power factor range 0.9 lead to 0.9 lag without derating.
Ratings include 10-15-20 kVA/kW with either 1/1 phase input/output, 3/1 phase input/output or 3/3 phase input/output phase configurations.
The systems are available in 3 cabinet variants, Compact, Active & Xtend which offer various internal battery autonomy options. The Xtend versions mechanical design also offers the possibility to install an internal isolation transformer or provide IP21 or IP31 degrees of protection.

| ECO | The energy control operation (ECO) mode is an energy-saving mode that can be configured via the LCD or web user interface (WebUI). In ECO mode, when the bypass input voltage is within the ECO voltage range, the static bypass switch turns on, and the bypass supplies power. When the bypass input voltage is out of the ECO voltage range, the UPS transfers from bypass mode to normal mode. In bypass mode or normal mode, the rectifier keeps working and charges the batteries. The ECO mode provides a higher efficiency of up to 99%. |

The S3T redefines the concept of flexible power protection by offering three different cabinet sizes to meet the varied needs of small data centres and mission-critical applications:
Compact (CPT)
- Footprint less than 0.25 m2 and volume of 0.17 m3

Sentryum is manufactured used state-of-the-art components designed to run flawlessly at temperatures up to 40 °C. These include a dual-core DSP processor and three-level inverters that operate at high frequency (18 kHz).
This ensures the S3T delivers full-rated power (kVA = kW 1 pf) with exceptional operating efficiency of up to 96.5% in online double conversion mode.
Available as three-phase/single phase input, single-phase output or three-phase input and output, the UPS has a unique control system that reduces harmonic voltage distortion (< 1% at resistive load and < 1.5% at non-linear load).
In addition, Sentryum has a high overload capability (125% for 10 minutes, 150% for 1 minute) and short circuit (270% for 200ms and 150% for 300ms) capacity, which enables it to handle sudden peak loads without needing to transfer to bypass.
Install up to 8 S3Ts together in parallel to scale capacity or build in redundancy (i.e. N+1 configuration). Closed loop system ensures the UPSs continue to function even if there’s a disruption to the connecting cables.
A revamped 5-inch colour touchscreen display panel clearly highlights crucial UPS measurements and operating statuses. While an innovative new LED status indicator automatically changes its colour (light blue, dark blue, yellow, red) depending on the operating mode and condition of the UPS.

The Sentryum range is suitable for use with sealed lead-acid (VRLA), AGM, GEL, open vent or nickel cadmium batteries, as well as alternative backup sources such as super-capacitors and lithium-ion batteries.
It incorporates sophisticated battery management systems, such as deep discharge protection and recharge voltage compensation, to ensure the best performance and operating life. Higher-powered (20 A) battery chargers are available for longer runtime applications.
The S3T incorporates USB, RS232, and RJ10 ports, plus various slots to insert parallel and network communications cards. It is compatible with the a range of UPS networking and UPS management software, including PowerShield3 and PowerNetGuard.
